Friedheim is the birth location of Justine Warnke that married Gottlieb Koberstein probably in Colonie Brinsk but in any case all their children were born in Colonie Brinsk. Her Mother Eva Lange was born there also and her father Martin Warnke was born just north in Brostowo.

It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Miasteczko Krajeńskie.[1] It lies approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) south-east of Piła and 77 km (48 mi) north of the regional capital Poznań.
