Gibson General Health Foundation Annual Dinner

Princeton IN – Gibson General Health Foundation held their Annual Dinner  Tuesday, November 16, 2004, at Gibson General Hospital’s Health & Education Room. Foundation Executive Director Jennifer Koberstein introduced new board members: John Dyer, Scott Mayer, Susan Partenheimer, and Matt Walker.

Gibson General Health Foundation Officers for 2005 are President – Mike Watkins, Vice President – Bob Kinkle, Secretary – Cathy Harvey, and Treasurer – Helen Hauke.

Koberstein thanked Foundation Board Members for their efforts in raising funds to help improve quality health care for Gibson General. During Fiscal Year 2004, the Foundation has donated over $1 million in fixed assets to Gibson General Hospital.

Koberstein expressed appreciation to the 2004 Jazz Gala Committee and Chairman Mike Watkins, and to the 2004 Golf Classic Committee and Chairman Bob Kinkle, for their outstanding efforts and success of these fund raising events. Watkins announced a new theme for the 2005 Jazz Gala and that the

Mardi Gras Jazz Gala would be Saturday, February 5, 2005.

Joe Carithers announced the Annual Tree of Remembrance campaign, which is held December 1 through the January 1. Ornaments may be purchased for $5.00 through the Foundation Office and at the hospital’s Main Lobby Information Desk.

The foundation extends its gratitude to the continuing generous support of our community, businesses, and board members. Donations raised provide capital improvements and health care equipment to the hospital.
