My Dad did speak with or meet Freeman. They decided they weren't related. My mom doesn't remember much more than that so I don't have any additional information about family history.
A couple of updates for you. My dad passed away in May '01. Jennifer's married name is Roda. 3 kids Nicholas, Elizabeth and Caroline. Amy's married name is segal and she has a son Benjamin.
