Immigrated in 1911 as per the 1930 census, this is before her parents and brother immigrated in 1922.
Emilie found in a Philadelphia Passenger List arriving on 11 Nov 1911 from Ludylkorr, Russia where she last lived and where her father Christian is still living. She was going to Clevland, Ohio.
It is interesting that Emilie Koberstein was listed on a Passenger list arriving October 26, 1911 going to a friend at 3517 Seymour Ave., Cleveland, Ohio. It is interesting that Julius and wife (Amelia) are living at 3138 Seymour Ave., Cleveland, Ohio in the 1930 cencus. I had thought that Emilie of the passenger list and Amelia of the 1930 cencus were the same. Based on the age of Julius of 41 at the time of the cencus and having been in his first marriage till 22 years old, the marriage year is about 1913. Using the same calculation for Amelia who was 37 at the time of the 1930 cencus and been in first marriage since 20 years old, the marriage date year is about 1913. Therefore it seems like if Amelia and Emilie are the same they were married as soon as she arrived or nearly so.
